Gertrud Polnik

Gertrud was born on August 3rd, 1918 in Mikultschutz. Gertrud's father was Karl Polnik and her mother was Paulina Klaczka. Her paternal grandfather is Johann Polnik and her paternal grandmother was Magdalena Gajda; her maternal grandparents were Bernard Klaczka and Karolina Pfeiffer. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Emanuel, Heinrich, Rainmund, Edmund, Paul, Reinhold, Scharlotte, Wanda, Emilie, Pelagia and Therese. She is the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
